180º Youth Ministry's Interests
General
Our youth group LOVES: being goofy, music, playing sports and our crazy games, eating (especially the food our mom's make for us), doing silly skits, learning something from the Bible, singing with our jammin Praise band led by Pauly Paul, Clip of the Week, going on trips (retreats, concerts, conferences, camps) and MOST IMPORTANTLY our Homeboy, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
You all should come check our youth group, every Sunday night from 5:00-7:30 at Wesley UMC (826 NW 23rd Ave, G'ville 32609) in our YOUTH HOUSE...it's behind the church.
We have people that represent just about each middle and high school in Gainesville and Newberry and some awesome counselors that go to UF + SFCC!
What do we do? We get to together every week to simply join together and grow in Jesus. We hang out, eat, play games, watch goofy video clips, sing and worship with our praise band, read a little Bible and learn something about Christ. Everyone is welcome, we respect your beliefs and ask that you respect ours. We would love to have you come visit. Our youth group is a place where you will leave feeling changed and you won't be made fun of for who you are, how you look or what you believe. Don't worry, nobody will beat you on the head with a Bible b/c you're not wearing your W.W.J.D. bracelet...give it chance and check out one-eighty!
