Bio
...... .. ........My Favorite MySpace 2.0 Layouts.................. .... .. .......... .. This talented singer/songwriter from Austin, Texas, first became interested in country music as a profession at an early age. Inspired by artists such as Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and Jackson Browne, Tim set out to find his own voice in the music he loved..... In 1985 Tim enrolled at McClennon College in Waco,Texas, where he studied commercial music, and in 1988 landed his first artist gig. For three years he worked as guitarist/background vocalist for Mercury Polygram artist Ronna Reeves..... 1991 found Tim in an original band in Ft. Worth, Texas, working on what would turn out to be just another lesson..... Frustrated, and more determined than ever, Tim moved his small family to Nashville, Tennessee in 1997,and quickly found work as a guitarist for acts such as Kevin Sharp, Mark Chesnutt and The Dixie Chicks, but there was a desire for something more..... In the winter of 2002 Tim began putting together an album project that would feature his own material. The album "I Know Love" was completed in 2003 and with minimal promotion reached the playlists of many independent radio stations across the state of Texas as well as peaking at number 64 on the worldwide most played list. .... Tim's latest effort "One More" (2007) is a collection of his own material and includes two covers by legendary writers Rodney Crowell("Aint Living Long Like This")and Gary Stewart("Empty Glass"). Delivering an absolute stellar performance, Tim gives new life to these two country classics..... The first single released from the "One More" collection ("I Aint Living Long Like This" October 2007) did well with airplay from light to heavy in twenty-seven Texas and Oklahoma markets and finishing at number fifty nine on "Best In Texas"..... Tim's next release, "One More" March of 2008 charted at number fifty on "Best In Texas" and helped to bring Tim's music into 20+ new markets. .... February 4th 2008 Tim was nominated for "Male Vocalist Of The Year" by the Academy Of Texas Music. .... Tim played more than 100 shows in 2008 featuring his own material as well as material from the legendary country artists that still inspire him..... All Tim Fralik shows are high energy whether it be an acoustic/solo or playing with the band. Both include originals and covers by Jerry Jeff, Waylon, Willie, Merle, Buck, Don Henley,SRV, Skynard and Tom Petty..... Tim tours with a 3pc. band, Richie Vasquez on drums and Johnny Quest on bass guitar and vocals. Tim plays a rockin' country "Tele" and a Gibson "Chet" acoustic. From the country chicken pickin to bottle neck slide guitar to acoustic melodies Tim puts his heart and soul into every note and leaves it all on the stage. This email is intended to inform musicians and singers of all genres that a new t.v. reality show is being produced and pitched to major networks this January. This is an "open call" to audition for your spot.
Step1:
The audition:
Auditions will be tapped at The House Of Blues in Houston. tentatively) Each player or singer will get 3 minutes to perform your best material with no accompaniment( just you and your instrument)
Step 2:
selection:
Participants will be selected by our panel of judges and contacted with further instruction.
Step 3:
Band Formation
Five players will be selected as band leaders. Band leaders will then review the audition tape to select their band from all participants.
Step 4:
Singer Selection
Now the five bands have taken form, it's now time to pick the lead singer (if not an instrumentalist that has already been selected)
Step 5:
Producing a product
Go to work! Writing, recording and booking gigs.
Bands will be responsible for writing , recording and marketing their product via facebook, myspace etc.
Bands will be housed for the duration of the season at an undisclosed location where every band will live and work and write together and have the use of a pro recording studio with an engineer.
Through out the season we will have guest musicians and writers that will team up with bands to write and produce tracks.
Bands will be rewarded during the season for most downloads, ticket sales, swag sales, and highest bar averages.
At the end of the season one band will get a recording deal.
Contact me with any questions you may have. @ dreamoneproductions@gmail.com
This is a great opportunity to network with other players. If selected for the show, your talents will be seen by literally millions of people world wide
Remember, THERE IS NO COST TO YOU!!!
You could be the next BIG THING!!
