Another rainy day in Poseyville! That actually might be a good thing for once, because it kept me inside and I got a lot of work done today. It seems like parents have been calling me nonstop, wanting to sign up their child for one of the summer camps. Yesterday I spent a ton of money at Target, buying mainly sporting items.. soccer goals, soccer balls, water stuff, baseball bats, frisbees.. the list goes on and on! I also bought a lot of scrapbooking items, which a lot of the kids like.
As for the more exciting news, I bought a new car! That's right, I bought.. for once, I'm not driving a car that either of my parents bought! I've been looking through car ads in the paper and online for a while, and then went car shopping on Monday and Tuesday. I looked at a lot of cars, at probably six different dealerships, but ended up buying the very first car I looked at. It's a silver, 2006 Chrysler Sebring convertible! I'll have to get a picture up so you can see. I'm so excited! I actually negotiated with the car salesman to bring the price on the car down, and whenever I went to meet with the finance guy, he told me that the first guy had said he was impressed by how much I had researched and that I really knew what I was doing! Which, since I really didn't feel like I knew what I was doing at all, this made me feel a lot more confident!
