Stacia's:
I came into writing as a reader. I love reading and can finish a novel a night if I get into it. As strange as it seems, I don’t like sad endings or emotionally complex books. I love happy endings where everyone falls in love and goes off into the sunset. I am the eternal optimist. I also love an occasional visit to a clairvoyant or astrologer and that’s how IN THE STARS was born. I used to think I’d be a good palm reader, but I got all my lines confused.
Rhody's:
Hiking, Camping, Fire
Music
Stacia's:
I’m young at heart. I like sugary sweet teen pop. I also love to flash back to my high school days with greatest hits from the 1980’s: The Cure, Talking Heads, Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, the GoGo’s, even Madonna (she set the fashion for my younger days!)…
Rhody's:
Madeline Peyroux, Melissa Ethridge, Meat Loaf
Movies
Stacia's:
Anything romantic and funny. If there is time travel in it, too, then that’s the best for me!
Rhody's:
Science fiction/fantasy. District B-13, Blade Runner, Sleeper
Television
Stacia's:
American Idol (Since the very beginning, I haven’t missed an episode!), Dancing with the Stars, and my favorite is Thank God You’re Here.
Rhody's:
I don't watch TV
Books
Stacia's:
I am a romance novel junkie. I like the contemporary novels better than the historical. Don’t like vampires, but find psychics and other paranormal elements really interesting.
Rhody's:
Books written by William Gibson and Jules Verne
Heroes
Stacia's:
There are so many people I admire. From my family, to my kids, to my friends. I meet heroes all the time. I once read that everyone we meet has a story to tell. I make it my mission to discover one story everyday. The world is a very interesting place!
Rhody's:
George Boole who invented Boolean Algebra which is the basis for computer code; Stacia Deutsch who is the most creative, hard-working person I know

Who I'd like to meet: Stacia's:
Oprah and Katie Couric come first to mind. I wouldn’t mind meeting Dr. Phil. I have a few questions I’d like to ask him. I’d also love to hang out with Nora Roberts, the best romance writer of all times. Steven Spielberg would be great, too. Actually, anyone who wants to turn my books into a TV show or movie would be fantastic!
