I am a food lover, car enthusiast, speed freak, and a business owner.
I have been a chef for the past 12 years. I graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 2000 (which sounds more exciting than it actually was). For me cooking is a way to express my creativity and artistic ability (b/c I sure and the hell cant paint or draw). The adrenaline rush is what kept me in the restaurant world for so long. There is nothing quite like getting your ass handed to you on a busy night and coming out on the other side with a few battle wounds. But now it is time for me to get out of the kitchen and try some different areas of the industry.
I recently started an online retail store (www.thechefstableathome.com) selling high-end kitchen and dining accessories for the professional and home chef. I will soon be opening up a store front with a cooking studio within the retail store so that I can offer cooking classes.
