LOCATION: UNDER THE QUEENS COURT HOTEL, BYSTOCK TERRACE, EXETER CITY CENTRE On June 2nd Exeter night life will be enriched a little further by the launching of a new chic and fun bar. Revamping the notorious space that was formerly known as The Bystock, Nudo resides underneath the Queens Court Hotel in Bystock Terrace a short walk from the town centre tucked away from the main drag. Nudo Lounge is a black swan with a cheeky peck of debauchery. A rather sumptuous and sophisticated affair, but do not be mistaken - this is not a pretentious or sterile bar, so with it’s friendly staff and infectious atmosphere Nudo Lounge may well become your regular playground. Dark and decadent the interior is a candle-lit boudoir with playful touches. Split into three areas, the bar is furnished with brown leather sofas, zebra bar stools and fuscia wall murals, venturing into the main area guests can choose from an eclectic mix of baroque and low modern seating at black glass round tables. The third area can be hired for private parties and is opened up for bigger events. Musically Nudo Lounge hosts an eclectic mix and blend of live acts from jazz to acoustics and bongo players on advertised Saturdays as well as Friday’s funk, soul & electro. Other nights are a little more experimental with dj’s digging deep into their collection and dusting off some rare vinyl. Spreading it’s wings over the weekend Nudo Lounge opens late from Thursdays to Saturdays – all in all a very welcome addition on the nocturnal map in Exeter June - open Fri and Sat only Saturday 2nd June - Opening night!
