Fresh out of the Orange Springs, Ocala, Fl area, Azmyth is the brainchild of brothers Tim and Tyler Downey. Both began writing music at very young ages and have since successfully conjured up a unique brand of music, which was given the name Azmyth in the summer of 2007. In 2009 Azmyth toured the entire southeast region of the United States inspiring crowds with a pure simplicity and raw edge that rock music has been lacking for the past twenty years. The result was a strong base of loyal fans eager to "Start a revolution." In July 2010, after searching far and wide for musicians, the brothers teamed up with up and coming musician Alex Noles. In mid 2011 Alex Noles took over the bass guitar, to return the band to a three piece, which it was founded as!

Azmyth looks not to follow trends, but to bring true rock back to the days when it had a meaning and a purpose. Azmyth brings a massive presence to the stage, something most bands lack these days.

Azmyth can be recognized by Tyler Downey's monstrous thundering sound brought on by his massive drumset, and Tim Downey's killer rock riffs, grungy vocals and heartfelt lyrics.
