18 Wheels Of Justice is a 5 peice metal band from Boston Massachusetts. Founded in 2002 by college friends Conor Anastasia and Todd Harris, the band drew on influences from many different musical styles to create an original sound......Fast, aggressive metal that draws on early american thrash, european metal, and american hardcore.
For several years the band played shows around new england, and developed a reputation as a great live band, and recorded demos, that would eventually lead to the recording and release of "18 Wheels Of Justice" a self titled 7 song EP in 2005. Recorded at Harris' studio, (DB Studios, Worcester MA) The EP received exellent reviews from local press, and several songs received airplay from both college and commercial radio across new england.
After some lineup changes, Including the addition of guitarist Steve Abajolie and drummer Sam Pothier, 18 Wheels recorded and released "Deceive Them All" in August of 2007, through Elephantine Records. Recorded and produced entirely by the band at "DB Studios", The 9 song full length album was well received by both local and national press, and again several songs received airplay on many different college, commercial, and internet radio stations.
Recently, the band has announced the addition of Adam Sloan on Vocals, and has finished writing for a new album. Recording of the as-yet-untitled record will start at DB Studios in late october 09'.
18 Wheels Of Justice has maintained a busy show schedule since it's inception and first show in Boston, in 2002. We enjoy playing live, and strive to put on the best live show we can. Come see us live sometime, and see for yourself.
