Most sports, especially football. I've supported Manchester United since I was 7 years old. I watched the 1966 World Cup win by England and Bobby Charlton was my favourite player, so it was an easy decision to support United. I also met him at his "My England Years" book signing at the Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield in September 2008 and had my picture taken with him. It's on my site. I also enjoy watching most other sports, including cricket, golf, a bit of motor racing, etc.
Music
Mostly quite dated stuff like Roxy Music, Elton John, ELO, REM, 10CC etc., but catching up a bit more recently, following a change of car which has a CD player. My most recent CD purchases are a couple of Foo Fighters albums (Foo Fighters and There Is Nothing To Lose), a couple of Kasabian albums (Kasabian and Empire), The Best of Billy Joel - The Piano Man, Live and Dangerous by Thin Lizzy & Then and Now by The Who. I have also had Snow Patrol's Final Straw in my car since I bought in March this year. I have some Kaiser Chiefs, Keane, Arctic Monkeys and Razorlight on my iPod, some of the older groups being 10CC, REM, Roxy Music, Elton John, Mott The Hoople, OMD, Police and the Beatles. My tastes also extend to classical music, my favourite composer being Beethoven, but I also have some Mozart, Schubert, Bach, Handel, Haydn and Mahler, amongst others in my collection.
Movies
My favourite is One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest with Jack Nicholson, one of my favourite actors. I also like Dustin Hoffman and Clint Eastwood and like his "Dollars" films.
Television
Spooks, MOTD, Waking The Dead.
Books
Mostly crime fiction these days, particularly Mark Billingham, John Connolly, (I am a member of both Mark's and John's forums), Patricia Cornwell, Jeffrey Deaver, John Grisham, James Patterson, Kathy Reichs, Karin Slaughter, Michael Connelly and Harlan Coben for starters. Graham Hurley has just joined that list. Autobiographies and biographies for non-fiction; these mostly have sporting connections, including the first two heroes named below.
Heroes
George Best! It's pure coincidence that he also played for United, but the man was a footballing genius. Other footballing heroes include Sir Bobby Charlton, Denis Law, Brendan Batson, Steve Fallon, Dion Dublin and Alan Biley. In other sports, the likes of John McEnroe, Muhammad Ali to name a few. Oh, and Lewis Hamilton is a fast rising star whose driving ability I admire.

Who I'd like to meet: Fans of all sorts of sports, really, but especially football fans, regardless of following, but Manchester United ones in particular. Also fans of my hometown club, Cambridge United, whilst my favoured team in Scotland is Celtic. (I saw the Champions League match at Old Trafford against Celtic last September - the atmosphere was terrific!)
I also enjoy watching cricket, especially Test Matches, golf and most other major sporting events.
Book readers and people with musical interests, too (see below - the list is by no means exhaustive, but just adds a flavour).

Im sure u heard of Liverpool's cheeky little win over Chelski. So Im 2 believe Liverpool is Utd's Prem competitor???? I doubt and laugh at the prospect.
I do believe I said We would steal the title from under Liverpool's and Chelsea's noses, looks like another United Championship year and a possible TREBLE year!
