...... Thanks for visiting Kevin Holloway's MySpace page. Kevin plays four regular gigs a week as well as his 'day' job, which is five or six days a week. In his spare time, if he has any, Kevin loves to fish on his boat or at the little lake across the street from his childhood home. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, often that includes what else ~ PICKIN! Kevin says "Don't teach me how to use it, cause I'll be on it all the time." 8~16~07 UPDATE ~ ~ ~ Kevin has been caught! Hooked! By the Internet bug that is! YEP! Both Kevin and Kristen continue to play with musicians they have known since they were children. Kevin met one of his regular pickin partners, Dennis Wallace, when he was just ten years old. Dennis played with Kevin's Dad, Mike Holloway. Over the years he has played many festivals and concerts with Gypsy Wind as well as other musicians and bands. 2006 a very special show for Kevin was playing with the Gypsy Wind band ~ opening for The DEL MC COURY BAND. What a thrill to meet Del, Ronnie & all the boys! Being a very modest man, Kevin, won't brag on his talents. Those who hear him say "just listen & you'll know." Kevin plays Mandolin, Guitar ~ acoustic & electric and Fiddle too. His favorite instrument to play is his Williamson Mandolin. ...... Kevin PROUDLY plays a Williamson! Handcrafted by Lon Williamson. Kevin performs every Tuesday with local legend, Dennis Wallace - inside Ricky T's. On Thursday and Friday with Corn Fused on the porch @ Ricky T's on Treasure Island. EVERY Sunday the band - Corn Fused performs at Ka'Tiki, on Sunset Beach, Treasure Island. ...... A favorite old gig - Kevin playing a mostly blues/country/rock guitar duo with KIRK ADAMS. Kevin also plays with his sister Kristen's band, Gypsy Wind ~ at Ka'Tiki and a few other places around town as well as traveling to perform at festivals.
