.. About Tonfuchs .. ..Who or what is Tonfuchs "Tonfuchs" is a small company wich was founded at the end of 2004 by me, the luthier Uwe Schoelch. I have been learned my craft skills from 1996 to 1999 at the "Schack guitars" company near by Frankfurt and the violin craft shool in Mittenwald, where I successfully did my journey-man..s diploma for stringed instrument craftmanship. I collected extensive expirience in the following years, when I mainly did special edition services and repair for customers. In this time it was especially estimable to work with Boguslav Teryks, probably one of the best concert guitar constructors worldwide. From 2001 to 2005 I mainly worked for "Nik Huber guitars" in Rodgau. The consequence of nine years working expirience was the setting up of the label "Tonfuchs". Since 2009 is Dr. Pierre C. Debs joining, next to other various people wich are supporting the label "Tonfuchs". Pierre recently joined Tonfuchs and is responsible for electronics and hardware for our limited edition and small-run series guitars. In addition to sourcing the finest American custom and boutique products we use for our small-run series of guitars, he is actively developing new and better ways for guitar electronics and hardware installations. see you soon .. .. .. .. .. .. ............
