I’m a freelancer based in Hollywood, Florida who specializes in writing. I also do editing, research and can come up with layout ideas. My love for writing started back in High School, when I took a journalism class in tenth grade. I liked it so much, I joined the yearbook staff for my final two years in the school. My love for journalism was cemented during my Senior year, when I got to intern at the Miami Herald.
After my graduation, I chose to major in Journalism at a local college. While there, I became editor of two out of the school’s three publications. The third one, I did work study for and helped with selecting pieces and layout. Since then I have started freelancing for several companies, including a Desperate Housewives blog for 451press, and am always looking for additional challenges. Besides that, I have a Country Music Blog, an Associated Content page and my own website with all kinds of stuff on it. I write reviews, interviews, bios and much more.
I also have articles up on a site called Miami Info. I wrote the articles on Miami's Hurricane Season, Healthy Eating in Miami, The Hard Rock Hotel, the Miami Hurricanes, Miami Heat, the Redland Trail and many more! That’s not all, though. I've love to get the chance to meet any of my favorite singers (see the list below) as well as some of the contenders for president. I think a chat with Sylvia Browne could be interesting as well.
On a slightly more "wishful thinking" note, I would absolutely love to get to go back in time and talk to people from different eras. I wonder sometimes what they would think of how the world is going today and the technology we have at our disposal. Plus, I would like to be able to hear first hand from someone who experienced the civil war or anceint greece... someone who saw the bulding of the pyramids. I love reading old documents in history books, but nothing could beat a first-hand account.
