It's Summertime and the Island is Open! Franky and Johnny's Island Park changes with the seasons. It's Summertime and it's time to bring the Party Outside. Summer Sunday's -Franky is lighting up the grill and Our new smoker to bring you some old time favorites. Hop into your car and drive down Rt. 46 West to Buttzville, N.J. just east of the Rt. 46- Rt. 31 junction, to Franky and Johnny’s Island Park. Here they strive to give you the best service, and quality food to better your meal experience. Franky and Johnny’s Island Park is “Where Good Friends and Cold Beer Meet.”
This newly renovated sports bar is great place to spend your afternoon/evening. Bring the family down for an awesome meal, or meet up with your friends after a long day of work. The possibilities run from Steamed Clams, daily food specials to New Orleans Style Mardi Gras, St. Patty’s, Cinco de Mayo celebrations. Uncle Pete hold’s the secret to the clams - a regular favorite which continues to draw a crowd on Wednesday. Every other Thursday nights are filled with live music, provided by yourself and your friends through Karaoke, Friday nights- Open Juke Box -come play your favorite songs! Singles Saturday Nights -drink specials -Open Juke Box-8pm-?. There’s always something going on at Franky and Johnny’s. Check MySpace for upcoming events.
“Appeteasers” include Island Park classic Buffalo wings, Fried Pierogi, Couch Potato and Jalapeno Bombers. These pre-meal treats are so good; they’re just a tease. Want to try something new, sink your teeth into one of Frank’s “Basket Cases”.-all time favorite is the “Marinated Chick”- Franky's Baby Back Ribs served on Saturday night's or Backyard Bruce's BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwiches. Delicious treats to hit your taste buds just where you like it.
Summertime is the time to grill, and Franky is doing just that. On the smoker he's got beef briskets with his special homemade sauce- a true mouthwatering treat you will have to try! Every Sunday join Franky and his crew as they celebrate on the island, with Live music from 3-7 pm.
Come celebrate Our First Annual Cajun Festival- Sunday- 6/22- Cajun food favorites along with Live Cajun music performed by "Zydecoal".
Franky and Johnny’s Island Park was previously known as Island Park Family Restaurant owned/run by Mario and Corky for 47 years. Franky and Johnny Island Park recently celebrated a 5th year anniversary. The tradition of volleyball and horseshoes in the outdoor picnic area still continues in the summertime with Summer Sunday’s –Live music on the Island. Bring the Family and a couple of Good Friends and enjoy a cold beer with your choice of BBQ Hot Dogs, Burgers,Backyard Bruce's Beef Brisket or our Sausage Sandwichs. Rent Our Island to celebrate your next special event- Family Reunion, Pig Roast, Car/Bike show. The option for catered parties is given to those who want to make their meal more personal.
Franky and Johnny’s Island Park draws a tremendous crowd of new and old customers. The riverside view makes it a great spot for local anglers to fish, and finish up their day with a great meal or cold beer.Come see our Wall of Fame-Local anglers with their rainbow trout, recently caught -ranging from 23-27 inches!!. Lead barmaid, Taylor is always lending a smile and a happy joke to those who pass through the doors. Stop in to visit your favorite barmaids- Jessica (I have no Friends) Lynch and Suzy (Soccer Mom) Frost.
