I am the co-director of L'imprevu Bellydance with my dance partner and best friend, Nari.
L'imprevu is French for the unexpected and that is what you will see.
We have a combined 22 years of dance experience with the last 5 years of it exclusively in Bellydance. Nari's bellydance background includes studies in American Cabaret, Egyptian, Turkish, ITS and Tribal Fusion. Obsidia's bellydance background includes studies in American Cabaret, ITS and Tribal Fusion.
We also have backgrounds in theater allowing us to create unique theatrical performances that harken back to the vaudeville shows of yesteryear. We combine technique with sauciness and a bit of comedy.
Classes for intermediate (at least 6 months of prior bellydance study) and advanced dancer happen in Bedford TX at my home studio, Vagabond Salon on Sundays 1:00-2:00pm..Nari teaches in Houston and more details will be coming soon....
L'imprevu Bellydance, under Nari's watchful eye,hosts a monthly community hafla at Avant Garden called Vagabond Bellydance..
