I kind of want to see that, but then I figured it'd be another Nacho Libre. What are you doing today? I'm not doing much this week, but job hunting tomorrow.

Julie, dammit.  Did you not get my message I left you?  I left a message over that goddamn piece of shit magic jack thing and you should get it.  Why the fuck would it give me the option to leave a message if I couldn't  Stupid son of a bitch thing.  But anyway, I texted you my schedule and in that last voice mail you left I think you got it so maybe I can get a call from you at a good time.
  • Jun 4 2009 9:25 PM

Glad you like it Julie..... Post high school has been boring didnt get into the U so im not going to school right now. I do still want to pursue law tho it might just take me a lil longer to get there ha
  • Jun 3 2009 3:35 PM

I love dance class. I took dance at Cottonwood last year and had a huge lesbian crush on my teacher. It's still there, actually, I think about her a lot, hahaha... But yeah, I'd be so down to hike and work it and stuff, ha.
I have no idea about the collage. I've cut out several heads, so I think it's just going to look like a crowd of people. I recently bought a huge sketch book, so it'll all fit in.
  • Jun 2 2009 5:38 AM

Julie. Call me whenever you'd like! Or can I call you? I'm not sure how the international phone card calls work... But I am assuming you have to call me for us to be able to talk.
  • Jun 1 2009 7:51 PM

You pick up your phone!  I am covering shift at work, so I can sneak a myspace peak on my phone's browser, but actual conversation? Haha, I wish Julie!  Hopefully we gets down to bidness soon though.
  • May 31 2009 8:31 PM

I want to be called Sparticus
  • May 31 2009 8:27 PM

HA. I love that you quote me.
And I'd love a music video made.. Maybe a different song. Today Colten and I decided that "Wouldn't it be Nice" is totally our song.
When do you get back? I wouldn't want to come back, it sounds like you're having too good of a time over.. there.
Pretty much self-taught.. I took an art class here, and nothing really stuck.
  • May 31 2009 6:48 PM

I am growing closer to moustach statues btw
  • May 31 2009 6:14 PM

I'm not exactly sure how they got into that. Colten has been talking about going, too... It'd be cool to visit, but I don't know. It'd be kind of cool to get married there, hahaha..
I'll get to that bulletin. I just put a new song on my profile, I think you'll appreciate it a bunch. Also, it's good to know you like Dr. Dog.
I don't get out much here.. Just to walk to work. I saw NIN and Jane's Addiction a couple weeks ago, but that's about it. There are some commercials promoting local bands here. It's mostly crappy hip hop mixed with pop-rock, talking about Apple Bottoms... There's a Warped Tour type thing for hip hop coming up soon, I'm thinking of going just to say I did..
  • May 31 2009 5:46 PM

No, Shelby, Earl, Kim and Heather aren't exactly rich.. They're living there for free, working on a plantation.
Whoa, this song is a flashback to elementary!
  • May 31 2009 5:31 PM

Hokay! Sounds good. I may have to go there sometime before then, since half of my friends are moving there.

Interests

  • General

Education (institutional, observational, in general, and otherwise), sober personal enlightenment & development, and inner-demonic liberation. Everyone and everything wholesome, good and worth knowing. Life, excitement, people and relationships worth having. The fine arts, inspiration, romance, and truth. Perfume and fragrances, from bottle to dirt and cedar thunderstorms. Love and free room service.
  • Music

I LIVE for the energy of live music; it makes me go real nuts, just real wild.

My top ten favorite bands, inspired by an inquiry by a friend of mine, Max Ijams who asked for my top five, but couldn't answer on New Years '09 (in no particular order):
    Daft Punk
    Coldplay
    Badly Drawn Boy
    The Jesus & Mary Chain
    Yann Tiersen
    Animal Collective
    Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
    The Flaming Lips
    The Go! Team
Manu Chao and the Radio Bemba Sound System
and, on occasion, The Jesus and Mary Chain gets switched with a mood for The Beta Band.

I have a pretty eclectic music taste, but I lean towards the more energetic numbers. They, and so many others, remind me of how great life is. I don't ever really hate any music or anything for that matter; it coincides with my take on life; what Buddhists' call altruism or loving-kindness. There's always something fantastic about everything wholesome, good, and worth knowing, even a subtle art/beauty in life's pain. Music or not. I wouldn't call it having a high tolerance. I think it comes hand in hand with learning to genuinely appreciate and celebrating life.
  • Movies

"There is a difference between interest and commitment. When you are interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to do something, you accept no excuses, only results."
Ken Blanchard, Bestselling author on the topic of leadership

I write, direct, and produce independent movies. It's become somewhat of a hobby while I'm pursing my degrees. I enjoy the collaborative and spiritual process of film making. I'm working towards being real established in the American film industry in the future, as well as a novelist. Maybe it's just the All-American teenage dream, doing both, but typically I meet friends who quit while they're dreaming, and I've never been too good at being a quitter unless my dignity's on the line.

My top films as are follows (also in no particular order):
    Cidade de Deus
Perfume: A Story of a Murderer
    Citizen Kane
    Lucky McGee's May
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
(I've really got a crush on that Paul Newman.)

I've gotten into this strange fix of watching movies back to back to back. I couldn't stop a movie like a chapter book; you wouldn't believe it, but there's some people who can manage doing it. It just pains me to; I really like getting lost in watching them.
  • Television

I love retro Saturday morning programing from the 80s/90s. I adore gorgeous/edgy aesthetics & good stories. I'm a sucker for teenage drama shows. I love Do-It-Yourself/Home Improvement television

My top five, in no particular order/subject to fluctuating change:
    Nip/Tuck
    Clean House
    Animaniacs
    Ugly Betty
    Sailor Moon
  • Books

If I can read a book in one seating, it's timeless to me. My favorite book of all time is Martyn Pig by Kevin Brooks. Speak by Laurie Halsen Andersen was consistently compelling from beginning to end. Silent to the Bone by E.L. Koinsburg was a jaw dropping mystery; the best I've read thus far. Orwell's Animal Farm was a quick read; the character symbolism is an intellectual retreat. I love graphic novels, and I love Neil Gaiman's fantasy stories, but his most prominent work is Stardust in my eyes for having such cleverly woven characters and being an amazing love story. Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli is a written manifestation of my life and is kept close to my soul.

I ? self-help/reference books. I find it rebellious to help myself with any of my problems. The Curious Writer. What They Don't Teach You At Film School. Screenwriting From The Soul. All notable.

I went to Hogwarts with Harry. Every single year made it a blast to grow up with him.
  • Heroes

Heros change, so I'll list the people I love!
My grandmother for nurturing me with love and kindness and my mother for her relentless persistence. My soul sister Amber Pearsen because we're constantly on the same page, we grew up as strong woman together and continue to grow both spiritually and otherwise, and she makes me feel like a better person every time, reminding me to, like herself, hold my head up with dignity. My darling Andrea Flores for exemplifying the bond of friendship and keeping to ones standards, my mentor Jessica Solyom for her selfless guidance, Harry Potter for growing up with me and relating, Albus Dumbledore for his attitude. Brandon Arnold for never doubting my potential/believing in me. Nathan Smith Jones for his willingness to share his knowledge... endlessly with a dose of necessary hilarity... and consistent optimism. Emily Merrill for her loyalty, her constant peaceful demeanor, and sound judgement. Samshine Brooks for her constant love and devotion for all good people. Tre for being family and demonstrating unconditional love. My main/favorite spice of life, Michelle for not letting a thing get past her, and the constant laughs.
