About me:
I sometimes struggle with the idea of being Canadian, I want to be patriotic, I want to love maple flavoured baked beans, I do love poutine, I loved Vancouver but now I miss people more than the mountains, ocean and clean air. My family is now scattered like a broken bottle that has pieces rounded by the tides. I'm engaged to an amazing man who I plan to marry in July of 2007. So I've got a feeling 2007 is going to be busy... plan a wedding, find a bigger place to live in Toronto, start painting again, launch another photography exhibit. Work is fun again. I am blessed to have amazing people come into my life. I am not practicing religion at this time. To me what is really interesting is the poetry, little pieces of poetry in every moment, like, the fact that there are cars going past my window at 120km and I'm just sitting still, it's beautiful in some ways and so i just think the simple things are... the world moves so quickly that when you finally slow down and appreciate moment by moment, there's really simple beauty in every moment that passes.
