April 2007:Intuition records released the compilation "Yesterday Today and Tomorow" with 23 titles including versions ,covers (pixies,gainsbourg)and a new title...
First of May 2007: Pierre-François MAURIN-MALET, singer and text writer of the band, died in the age of 41
May 2007: the two classics "Noisy but Empty" and "You or Sidney" were re-released, interviews with Thierry SINTONI, the composer of the band, at the German Zillo and Orkus magazine, the new website is finished
August 2007 : Sandy Casado and Thierry Sintoni are working on the last album of Rise and Fall of a Decade. Ten to twelve titles are mixed and produced in the Unity Mitford Studio...
Sept 07 , already 10 titles mixed , 2 more titles and the album is over.
One of these two titles is extract from the soundtrack of a french movie called "Plus loin encore"directed by Stephane Derderian. Rafoad wrote 10 original musical themes for this movie in 2006.
Jan 08 ,rafoad just finished their last album..."In the time when" is one of the new album songs.Carla Picchiantano (Singer from Speaking Silence)wrote the lyrics and sings virtually with Pierre François on this Rafoad song.
The album is not scheduled yet...Sandy and Thierry have first to re release the "first album "and "Forget the 20th Century".Then the last album will come with a surprise...

merci pour m'inclure dans ton "top-friends", tu sais que l'oeuvre de Rise and Fall of a Decade fait partie de ma vie, d'une façon très saine mais passionnelle (notre rencontre t'avais fait mesurer mon degré de passion pour le groupe, passion parfois débordante j'en conviens), aussi cela compte pour moi et me touche profondément.
J'ai hâte d'écouter le futur album accompagné de ce "tribute" à Pierre-François, qui promet d'être un superbe disque. Un manque de temps et de professionalisme dans les moyens d'enregistrement me fait regretter de ne pouvoir y participer, même si je me plait à reprendre A Sort of Bitter Taste pour mon plaisir de temps en temps...
