ABOUT 1977: THE MOVIE
On August 16th, 1977, rock and roll was at a crossroads. Elvis dies ending an era, proving once again that fame has its consequences …and a new wave of punk and disco is soon to change music as we knew it. The legends of rock and roll, Led Zeppelin, The Stones, and Pink Floyd were at their height, touring America and selling out stadiums. Deep in the Southeast, Texas woods a band with all the talent and a front man legend in the making is losing hope of being discovered until a road trip to RockFest 77 to see their rock idols changes their lives forever.
