    UPDATE: FCS is going to Germany in Summer 2008 to take part in the brass festival at Haus Marteau located near Hof, Germany. We are so honored to be included in this opportunity to perform in Europe with other quintets from around the world. Come to our recital in November to hear some of the music we'll be playing during our time abroad! .. .. Now starting their 2nd year together, Five Cents Sharp has enjoyed a warm welcome to the Ithaca College community and hopes to build on this over the next 3 full years. Five Cents Sharp started, officially, around November of 2006. Formed almost entirely by based on personality, FCS took a risk in our members, becoming friends first, then finding out what kind of musicians we all were. As we continue to grow, FCS looks forward to success in our performances, in the community and abroad, while also being able to go to schools and show kids the importance of playing music, and how fun it can be. .. ..
