Sounds Like
people say we sound like a heavy matchbox 20, and personally i think david sounds like the goo goo dolls singer or the lifehouse guy, so i guess we're mainstream rock but we've got our own sound. and we have guitar solos. and an amazing drummer.
David Sease and Nick Pascarella are the original members, and met while jammin at a friend's house. The two guitarist/songwriters hit it off and immediately started writing songs and eventually picked up drummer Chris Campbell, who blends a double bass metal feel with his original jazz style. Guitarist Andrew Morris, who played in many of Nick's previous bands, was picked up to play bass, and that is how Annies Tragedy came to be.
Nick has been playing guitar for years and listens to everything from Mozart to Eminim to Nickel Creek to Dream Theater. His hard rockin style and virtuostic leads puts a heavy edge on AT's sound.
David sings and plays guitar and has modeled his style after the Goo Goo Dolls and Matchbox 20. His unique voice and acoustic driven writing blend well with Nick's heavy edged playing and gives AT a unique blend.
Chris fits well into this unique equation with his heavy but technical playing, modeled after Carter Beauford, John Bonham and Mike Portnoy. Double bass fills and technical hits fit well into the band.
Drew has played guitar for years but has switched to bass for duties in the band. He has more of a classic rock style, and has infused AT's sound with solid lines and a good pocket for the other members.
that was a lame excuse for a professional rundown. basically, we all love to play music, goof off, and were gunna try to take this somewhere. peace. ~Annie's Tragedy~

Hey guys,
Would love to but half of us just moved out to LA and are waiting for the other half. I'm taking a hiatus to write for '08. I hope to see you in January and maybe we can get some jamming done at the acoustic venues.
