Rock...Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Metallica, Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC/DC, Deep Purple, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Rush, Aerosmith, Jethro Tull, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, etc, and some old time country and blue grass...mostly bands that can actually play instead of just making noise!
Movies
Patton is my all time favorite, and Braveheart is a close second. I love to laugh, so comedies are my most watched movies. While I have DVD's of all the modern comedies, I also love the old Ma and Pa Kettle, Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin, etc. I even like chick flicks like "You have Mail" and "Sleepless in Seattle". What can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic as well.
Television
I would have to say comedies again. My name is Earl is great, as is 30 Rock and The Daily Show. So many shows get cancelled after just one season though that are great shows. I like good reality shows like Hell's Kitchen, and yes, I watch American Idol. Spend most of my time on the History channel and TVland.
Books
Dean Koontz novels are my favorite escape from reality, but I enjoy factual History books of the U.S. and the Old West.
Heroes
Brad Lackey. First U.S. motocross rider to win the international motocross title. Rode with him a couple of times at Hangtown. Jack Youngblood isn't a hero, but my most admired athlete of all time, along with Marshall Faulk who I consider the greatest Rams runningback ever.
