Good writers, Frank Zappa, the Dalai Lama, all the usual heroes but especially those whose commitment to hope outweigh their fear. Most of the true heroes have names we never learn, having done heroic deeds without seeking fame or rewards.

..I try to stay aware of what is happening both inside and outside myself. I am pro-life and pro-choice. I try not to be anti-anything except for maybe anti-really bad stuff. I'm not quite an atheist (meaning that I find value in belief and faith) but I'm not quite a religionist either (meaning that I don't see much value in most of what is being called religion nowadays) I find value in wisdom from many sources. I try to take in what is useful to me and leave the rest. I like people who are willing to be people. I've just begun my second half-century as a human. I'm a construction mechanic and a musician. I'm NOT single.
