Daystar started off in 2004 as a recording project which is very close to resulting into our first album. The album is currently being produced by Ronnie Stone who engineered Mansun's Hit album 'Attack of the Grey Lantern' From the songs he has finished so far we are more than pleased. We are now close to having a complete live band and will be playing at a good venue near you very soon. Our songs are mainly about living, dying, growing up, loss, love & escapism.

Hi Phil, thanks for your comments on Summer Showers...They say if u write what you know, it come off more authentic...We have had the rainiest summer in years, tropical in fact...so, my reality triggered this song, and I was aiming at something that was understated, almost a poem with music...originally I considered doing an a cappella recording...cheers, Richard
