   About DJ Sage
The Main influence on the type of music I spin is from the early-mid 1990's Club Scene in Orlando & Tampa Florida. Going out to Firestone at 3 AM, dancing all night to Kimball Collins, D-Xtreme, Marky Mark. Sunday School at the Edge with DJ Icee, The First Place my wife(to be) and I ever went out together. out to Lee Road and spin in the back room of Infinity. I loved watching the B-Boys and B-Girls Jam out to the breaks I spin. I suppose they would be my "Target Audience"

Off to the Drop Shop...spend hours dropping needles on the latest jams...Alex always knew what I liked...if I recall the breaks came out on Tuesdays. Alex is a cool guy and I consider him a friend www.dropshop.com check out his site.

Back when I was making mixed tapes...thats right, tapes...Alex would throw them out for me as Promos. Later, when I started tracking CD's he sold the first 2 I ever made. "Nocturnal Effects" in 1997 and "Electrophonic Injection" in 1998.

In 1997 I was a resident at a small club called "Nightingales" in Ft. Collins, CO.
In 1998 I moved back to Orlando and played various gigs at Venues such as Firestone, Infinity, and Marz, as well as some "Raves" and After Parties

I put up the headphones in 2001 for several years professionally as I got more serious about education, marriage, kids. I guess my collection would now be considered "Old School", But I never stopped spinning...for myself...Ive always found it to be a release, always fun to have friends come over and record a 2 & 2 set.

So now I'm dusting off the old Vinyl and thanks to broadband internet connections I can perform once again. check me out at djsage.listen2myradio.com

I have also begun producing my own tracks...The one featured on this site is a rough cut of my first...Hence the Name "Beta"...Look for more to come as I settle into my new home and build up my basement studio ;)
