.. Ephesians 5:19-20 "speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God." In Hymn is a group of 6 musicians and singers who met while attending St Helena's Episcopal Church in Boerne, Texas. They first began playing music together as part of the worship band for the Sunday service. In Hymn was soon formed with the idea of developing a band that could play music and lead worship at locations outside of the church. Sounds Like
As you know we had the pleasure of "In Hymn" with us this past Sunday. They came out on Saturday to meet with me and get everything set up. They were very interested in the dynamics of our congregation and they set up their program with that in mind. The result was a wonderful and joyful service on Sunday morning. In the five months that I have been here I have not seen the congregation so enthused and engaged. The feedback was 100% positive. This group has a wonderful and vital ministry and we plan on inviting them to come to St. Boniface again. I will also recommend them to other clergy and to Camp Capers.
