It started back in 2007, as an attempt to make something different from the stuff I was doing with my band “The Other Side”. We had just released an album and I was not fully happy with the results. The need to find different sounds and try other instruments increased when “The Other Side” came to an end." .... "I finally had the chance to put my songs up together. I recorded, mixed and mastered them at – “Impulso Sinoide Studios”, Castelo de Paiva, Portugal. The first single was released November 2008 by “Abutre”. This is a net-label that started working in Portugal during 2008. It provides the free download of their artists work. It’s kind of a music community. The presentation EP “The city has been taken by giant monkeys” was released as a teaser for the upcoming album." .... "The result of this three year work (2007 to 2009) is the latest album “Sleepwalkers to a soundtrack of sirens”. It represents an overview on man and its problems, mixed up with particular and very instinctive points of view on daily matters. This is an album that focuses on the relationship between the individual, his origins and his relationship with an unknown city, which is gradually taking hold of him, leaving the trace of it's confusing, depressing and distorting character.

A short consideration on my work:

““1 is the lonely number” is a one man project. It started back in 2007, as an attempt to make something different from the stuff I was doing with my band “The Other Side”. We had just released an album and I was not fully happy with the results. The need to find different sounds and try other instruments increased when “The Other Side” came to an end."
