    ...... .. ...... .. .. ..We are 1pennyshort not 'onepennyshort' we’ve been in a band together and gigged for a good few years now, we have four members in 1pennyshort and we are determined and looking forward to carrying on what we want to play live and to still give our fans inspirational and unique music. As far as what type of music we are...well a mix of punk/Ska/progressive/alternative...we have played with the likes of Whitmore, Sonic Boom 6, Fandangle, Skaville UK, Magic Skoolbus, Not Katies, The fight and many more... ...."1pennyshort - Very cool local punk band, they are going places, getting a large fan base and have recently supported the renowned ska/punk band Whitmore" - Northampton Bands 2005 ...."1pennyshort, Adrenaline Rush Battle of the bands winners 2007". ....They win: ..£1500. ..A day in Rooksmere Studio. ..A gig to launch Willow Place shopping Centre in Corby. ..A gig to launch Europe's biggest vert ramp. ....''2's Blues' is the tale of wasting your life away, waking up at 4 o'clock in the evening, having a croissant then going back to bed, again the vocals lend theirself perfectly to the mood of this song. We begin this time with a Reggae/ Ska punch, this culminates into a huge chorus, with all manner of musically arousing things going on, here the use of the trumpet is genius and is really set off against the pumping guitar riff. The song then dissolves into a tricky little breakdown almost certainly taken out of the RAGE book.' - annon (yet to be named) who came along to a gig. ....peace&love to you all .... .. .. ...... .. .. ....!VOTE FOR US TO PLAY AT THE ISLE OF WIGHT 2008 FESTIVAL!.... .. .. .... .. .. .. .. ..
