RASCO FAMILY c'est l'histoire de deux frères, d'origine antillaise, nés en région parisienne.
Attirés par les rythmes jamaïcains, ils assistent, adolescents, à l'émergence des futurs grands noms du Reggae Music tel que Steel Pulse, Myckey Dread, Black Uhuru et bien d'autres plus particulièrement sur la scène de l'espace Balard et décident, avec le temps, de fonder leur propre groupe de musique.
Fréquentant la communauté jamaïcaine de Londres et de Paris, ils se lancent dans l'animation de soirées Sound System et participent aux premiers "Dance Hall" et "Dance Party". Ils se produisent au carnaval de Notting Hill, à la fête de l'Humanité (Septembre 2000) et donnent différents concerts notamment en Martinique et en Suisse (Genève).
Au fil des années, leurs voix et leurs compositions se sont enrichies grâce à diverses influences (jazz,funk,socca...etc...), tout en restant fidèles à leurs racines. La rencontre avec d'autres musiciens et compositeurs d'horizons diffèrents leur a permis d'affirmer leur style.
Aujourd'hui, ils partent à la conquête d'un plus vaste public, grâce à un esprit plus "World Music".
