Sheida has been singing and performing on stage since the age of four. Born with a passion for opera, and all other types of music, she has explored all musical avenues. In high school, Sheida was honored by being the youngest student to be accepted into a prestigious music choir that traveled to various parts of the world, including Japan, Germany, and France.
Following high school, Sheida took her songwriting more seriously, and began writing and composing her own music. To help enhance her musical skills, she took up piano, guitar, joined a gospel choir, and took classes at the Berkeley Jazz Music Schoolall while maintaining her strict classical training. For fun, Sheida enjoys belly dancing, and has also explored ballroom dancing.
While doing all this, Sheida began recording her first CD with Robert Berry, which has impressed many ears in the industry. Because of her vocal abilities, Sheida has been asked to record several vocal sound-alikes for video games by SONY and childrens CDs. On the side, Sheida has also recorded vocals for other song writers demos.
Sheida has written and produced her CD with Robert Berry, performing all back-up vocals herself at Soundtek Studios.
