Since 1995 the San Fernando, California based CONJUNTO TENOCELOMEH has performed at various venues throughout the Southern California area such as The John Anson Ford Amphitheatre, the Harriet and the Charles Luckman Fine Arts Complex, UCLA's Royce Hall,The Wadsworth Theatre, USC's Spectrum Theatre, and at CSU-Northridge Performing Arts Center. We have also given a special performance for the 1993 Noble Peace Prize recipient Rigoberta Menchu Tum, conducted the Son jarocho workshops at the Danzantes Unidos Festival in California, performed at the prestigious "Encuentro de Jaraneros" in Tlacotalpan, Veracruz, as well as many other community events. We are also currently working on our first CD that will be released in the fall of 2008! Committed to preserving the folk music and dance traditions of southern Veracruz, its members have given various lectures at colleges and universities on the SON JAROCHO and have traveled abroad and studied with masters in Mexican folk music. One of only a handfull of such groups found in Southern Califorina, the members of CONJUNTO TENOCELOMEH are professional musicians and educators who have wholeheartedly decided to concentrate, preserve, and perform, the beautiful folk music and dance traditions of southern Veracruz known as the SON JAROCHO.

Fundado en San Fernando,Califorina en 1995 el CONJUNTO TENOCELOMEH se a presentado en varios eventos en el sur de California y Mexico como el Amphitheatro John Anson Ford, Royce hall de UCLA, el Teatro Wadsworth, el teatro Spectrum de USC, el teatro Luckman, el teatro Performing Arts de CSU-Northridge, una presentacion muy especial para la recipiente del Premio Noble de Paz en 1993 Rigoberta Menchu Tum, dirijieron los talleres de son jarocho en el Festival de Danzantes Unidos , participaron en el " Encuentro de Jaraneros" en Tlacotalpan ,Veracruz. y varios otros evento comunitarios. Tenemos mese trabajando en nuestro primer CD que saldra a la venta en el invierno del 2008! Los integrantes del grupo han viajado y estudiado en el estranjero con maestros y expertos en la musica folkorica Mexicana y han presentado lecturas sobre el SON JAROCHO en varios collegios y Universidades. Uno de solo pocos grupos Jarochos que se encuentran en el Sur de California, los integrates del CONJUNTO TENOCELOMEH son musicos profesionales y educadores que se han entergrado completemente a la decision de concentrar, preservar, y presentar, y difundir, la hermosa musica y baile del sur de Veracruz, el SON JAROCHO. ..
