Music
The talent search will be held in 6 States and 18 cities in the southern region. Record Labels are eager to sign new talent, however the winners to be signed by the labels must be over 15 and approved by a parent or legal guardian and must not be signed by any other label. Guest and Judges for the 2009 Performing Arts Competition will include Major and Independent Record Companies, Celebrities, Comedians, Journalist, Musicians, Actors, Promoters, Producers, Personalities and The Media. There will be three age categories and one winner will be selected from each category. The age ranges are 8 – 12, 13 – 19 and 20 and over.
Movies
We welcome performers to journey with us on this historical and groundbreaking road trip in support of Literacy for the Performing Arts. Contestants must live in the southern region and not be signed with any label, independent, regional or national. Auditions will be held in Alabama, Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee. Dates will be announced in the local paper of the cities listed above.
