About the Artist:

Statedlife is an electronic music producer who doesnt let one single genre define him. He uses his considerable musicalgifts to speak out against, violence/war, hatred/racism, greed and all things that go against the goals that I think all the people of this earth strive for. Early in life he started out learning the trumpet and getting a strong grasp of musical theory. In high school he turned to the ways of the synth and there has been no stopping him since. His feelings toward music are this, " I am driven by an awareness of the situations facing humanity that seem out of control....I almost feel obligated to outwardly spread as many good vibes to the world as I possibly can....creating Music changes something deep inside of me and drives me to express my emotions. I feel a desperation to convey to others just how important it is that we try harder to love one another...to love this planet...to love life and to use the gifts that we've all been given to fulfill our own reality and to improve our existence. I try to focus on this way of thinking when I sit down to create my music...I hope it shows!".

About the Music:

touching on several genres of electronic music, Statedlife music always seems to carry that positive vibe with it. The more ambient synth music is always lush and spacious, with compositions that seem to move and glide, not unlike brush strokes on a canvas. He creates tones and textures that tend to cascade into the listeners subconcious, Although lacking lyrics, his more ambient music expresses his heart and soul. The house, breakbeat and down-tempo grooves are funky and fun, still wrapped up in a whirlwind of luscious synths and mood enhancing passages. No matter which genre, Statedlifes' songs seem to veer towards and embrace his great number of influences, past and present. He feels that if, you are truly communicating with other people, through your music, it should be a clear representation of who you are Inside.

FUTURE DREAM, Statedlife's first full length album of ambient music was released in 2007 on ARCHAIC HORIZON and can be downloaded for free by following this link http://archaichorizon.com/releases/ah014/ah014.html . Statedlife's second release "SUNSET DAYZ EP"is a house music release by SELEKTA RECORDINGS which is currently available for purchase at various dance music download sites such as Stompy, Juno, Beatport and itunes! Statedlifes next project "Firstlite ep" is set to be released by SELEKTA RECORDINGS by the middle of 2008

Statedlife is currently exploring his roots in house music and has been releasing some choice cuts on the label Selekta recordings.He plans to start work on a ambient project to follw up "Future dream" sometime in 2008.
