1st Degree is four young men who rock for a good cause. There passion to play for charitable events such as, Childrens Hospital, Make-A-Wish Foundations (Rock for Wishes), Friends of Veterans and Cancer Benefits and fund raisers of all types just to name a few goes without saying.
This group of fine young men use the talent they have been blessed with to help those who are less fortunate. They have shared the stage with National acts like REO Speedwagon, Cherish, Hollywood High, Fitz and The Crave. Billy Schommer at 16 is a front man like no other, the cream of the crop, belting out lead and backing vocals, playing rhythm guitar and drums.
Jesse Coonen is our diamond in the ruff and one of the best 14 year old guitar players you will ever see along with some lead and backing vocals.
Nic Tassone is our drummer, with more talent at 16 than most people achieve in a life time. He also plays guitar, keys, bass and more, also has recorded a nice compilation of original music.
John Kettleson a rock solid bass player extraordinaire at 16 is the back bone to this band. Put it all together and you have one of the finest young bands around.
