1st Degree is high energy rock and roll from Kaukauna, Wisconsin. They are making their mark in the area music scene. They have shared stages with rock legends REO Speedwagon, and new acts like Cherish and Hollywood High. Members include:
Billy Schommer at 15 is a front man like no other, the cream of the crop, belting out lead and backing vocals, playing rythm guitar, keys, drums and bass.
Jesse Coonen is our diamond in the ruff and one of the best 13 year old guitar players you will ever see. He also plays keys and does some lead and backing vocals.
Nic Tassone is our heaven sent drummer, with more talent at 15 than most people achieve in a life time. He plays drums, guitar, keys, bass and more, he also has recorded a nice compilation of original music.
John Kettleson a rock solid bass player extraordinaire at 15 also plays guitar and is the back bone and bottom end to this band. If you have not had the chance to experience a 1st Degree show, you need to see just one and you will know what we are talking about.
