    "ONE" is a band based both in Stockholm and Malmö, Sweden. None of the members are new to the music scene, each having been involved with performing music since the early 1990's. However the group "ONE" is fairly new. They like to sum up their sound as "Soul Rock". Due to the members' international background, a variety of musical styles make up the sound of "ONE". With roots spreading from NYC to Stockholm to Belgrade to Malmö to Freetown to Helsinki, comes a unique blend of hip hop lyrical flow, rock dynamics: elements of ska, funk, disco, punk and reggae. The vocals lace it all together with heartfelt narratives, rich in energy and passion. It all started off in Stockholm 1990, while still in high school, Diplomatic, Chak la Rock, Neb Malicious and Karl Persson formed the band "Renegade Generals". They played crossover rap/rock/funk. They came runner up in a high school talent show, which was followed by a stream of local gigs. The band showed a lot of promise because they played a style which was uncommon in Stockholm at the time. However, after two years, the group members felt a need to move on in different directions and they decided to split up. Diplomatic moved to Lund in southern Sweden, where he met the drummer C1 and formed a band called "Poetized". They played an experimental style of hip hop and gigged steadily in the Skåne region of Sweden, during the 90's. Around1998 they split. Neb Malicious played in a Stockholm-based rock band called "Fuel for the Fire" throughout the 90's. They decided to split around 2000. Chak la Rock was a dj/party fixer in Stockholm during much of the 90's. Around 1999 he formed the group "Playalicious" with his brother. It was a DJ/live act combo that played together up until the middle of the first decade of Y2K. Skip to August, 2007: C1, Chak la Rock, Diplomatic and Neb Malicious hooked up in Malmö and decided to make a fresh start and formed what is now known as the band "ONE". Because of the many trials and tribulations they have encountered along the way, it's been a major test of will for each member to keep the dream alive. This being the case Diplomatic decided to go solo but stay on as a featured artist in Sep, 2010. Following this, Stockholm based Singer/Guitarist Stefan Grujic former member of the Indie Rock band "Datura",, joined "ONE" as a featured rhythm guitarist in June 2011. Thus the band is now a 5 man act when playing live. Through sheer stubbornness, faith and devotion they have managed to stay relevant in their struggle to attain musical recognition. It is an on-going struggle, but the dream is still very much alive as they have completed their debut album "WAY OUT" released under their own independent label, March 2011."WAY OUT" is now available on iTunes and Spotified. www.tuneintoone.com
