All incoming cats are vet-checked, spayed/neutered, brought up-to-date on vaccines, socialized, and are feline leukemia and FIV tested.
Please come by the Wyomissing PetSmart on State Hill Road or the Temple PetSmart on 5th Street Highway to visit the kitties in our 2 adoption centers.

WHAT TYPE OF VOLUNTEERS DO WE NEED?-
We are always looking for fundraising help, foster homes, and shelter support. Perhaps you can transport cats to vet appointments, or do handyman shelter repairs, or make craft items to sell.
If you have a talent to lend -we NEED YOU! No job is too small!

FOSTER A CAT- If you can provide a clean, healthy space; fresh food and water; some love and care - we need your help! One By One will pay for all vet bills required.
It is with the help of foster homes that we can provide temporary care for more cats until they are adopted.
Fostering is a beneficial way to socialize the kittens and cats. It gives them time to adjust to home life and being around people. With some love and care through fostering, the kitties become ready for that special family or person who will adopt them. For information on how you can help, please email foster@1by1catrescue.org.

SPONSOR A CAT- Our Sponsorship Program is designed for people who would like to help homeless cats but are unable adopt.
For $10 a month, you can sponsor the cat of your choice. Your monthly generosity will help us care for that cat until he or she is adopted into a permanent home.......
As a sponsor, you will receive occasional updates on your selected cat.
You are welcome to send your sponsored cat, toys and supplies.
SPONSORSHIP is a great service project for organizations and clubs. It's also a great gift for someone who has everything!

If you cannot adopt maybe you would consider fostering a kitty. One by One pays for ALL vet bills, all you do is provide food and love! MANY of our cats are Not in foster care, but are living in our no-cage shelter. Most of these cats have never had the chance to live in a "real" home and we are short on foster homes.
