| | Music | Wow! Such a vast topic... I like trance, acoustic, ambience, blues and anything that invents its own category because it is just the true expression of the composer. These days it's Sigur Ros, Hammock, Pigeonhead, Bjork and some textured instrumental stuff. I just discovered Statedlife on Myspace - So Cool(check it out). Love that shoegazer genre!

| | Books | I rather fall in love with authors than singular works because a voice that speaks to me is worth pursuing. Of these there have been many dear to my heart... Rumi, Kahlil Gibran, Lao-Tzu, Anais Nin, Alice Walker, Paul Ferrini and Eckhart Tolle to name a few. My 'Bible' for some years has been 'A Course In Miracles'. PS - Some of the most stunning poetry I have EVER read was in a self-published
book titled: 'Remnants of Sunlight' by Elisa Hatigan avaliable through Lulu.com. Just gorgeous!

| | Heroes | My Mum, My old friend Kim MacKenzie for raising her two girls with such grace and strength of character and staying cool even though she's smarter than most everyone and that must suck. About me:
I am a reflective person... a poet by compulsion rather than ambition. I am an independent thinker who is wise to our interdependence. Sometimes I enjoy the beauty of others more fully in silence than amidst the contrivance of talk. For this reason I deeply appreciate communion with nature and animals. I love to read inspired works that redeem humanity from its shortcomings. I also sustain a passionate affair with music (I like it eclectic and layered and uncommon). I am not a follower but I am a seeker. Lately I've been making a more conscious practice of listening. I believe we're all in this for a reason. It is a collaborative adventure and I am listening so that my part may be contributed harmoniously.

Who I'd like to meet:
I love creative individuals and those who aren't afraid to be who they came here to be. I don't have time for addicts or those who see themselves as victims thereby disclaiming responsibility for their experience. I've long worked all that stuff out myself and am anxious for us to evolve into a more constructive phase. I am interested in meeting peers both intellectually and spiritually. I am open-minded except when it comes to closed-minded judgementalism. There are many worthwhile paths that lead to our shared destination. There are many colors to our tapestry and I rejoyce in the diversity of life!
