Brittany is a 19 year old Music Producer, Composer, Creator, Director, Arranger, and Performer originally from Newcastle, Delaware.
Brittany is the C.E.O of G-ReChords Music & Entertainment and plays over 20 instruments, including Keyboards, Synthesizers, Drum set, Percussions, Bass Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Acoustic Bass, Clarinets , Oboe, Trumpet, Tuba, Sousaphone, Baritone, Trombone, Saxophones, Flute, Piccolo, and many more. She has performed with Winton Marsalis, Bill Cosby's Jazz Band, Norman Hutchinson, D.J from the Black Label Society, Tony Williams and the BDG All-Stars, Kevin Eubanks band, Mark Mitchell and Ray-Chu & the Crew just to name a few.
Brittany has been recently honored by Dr. & Lady Morton, (Perfected Life Church) along with the mayor of Delaware as the 2009 Woman of the Word Youth Entrepreneur and Contributor in Delaware on March 21st 2009. Brittany performed at the New York Apollo and was nominated as the two time Apollo Winner at Amateur Night Live in 2004, produced music for Vickie Winans, Kindred the Family Soul, Dr. Cornell West, Jill Scott, Montell Jordan and many more artists nationally & locally. She was never taught to play any instruments . She truly believes that this is a gift from God, and she gives "Him" all the glory for it! Bishop Luther V. Sessoms Jr. & Pastor Linda Y. Sessoms are her Dearing parents and pastors of Genesis Abundant Life Global Ministries. Brittany graduated from Cab Calloway School of The Arts where she majored in Marching Band , Instrumental Music, Music Theory, Stage Technology and minored in Jazz Band, Symphonic Band, & Concert Band. Throughout her years at Cab Calloway, she has produced numerous solo albums entitled: "The Truth" By Brittany Sessoms, “My “Music Moves Through Matter” and “One Voice, One Band, One Ultimate Sound“. Brittany received many awards in the past, (not only academically maintaining the honor of being an "A, B" student, all of her Middle School and High School years), but in many performances, concerts and competitions, consisting of Outstanding Brass, Outstanding Soloists, Outstanding Woodwind, Outstanding Percussionists, Outstanding Drum line Solo (being the only Female in the drum line), and Outstanding Performer just to name a few. Brittany has been featured numerous times on WVUD Radio (University Delaware) with Dr. Gloria James and the G jazz, featuring her up and coming artists, and CD releases, and on Channel 28 for appearances.
Brittany wants to set a standard in the music industry and in this awesome journey as a young woman. She CHOOSES to stay holy and most of all HUMBLE before God as he guides her in her success.

The Truth is a CD (project) that was originally created, composed and produced by Brittany Sessoms. Brittany is a gifted sixteen year old artist who is originally from Wilmington, Delaware. Brittany plays drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, Hammond B-3, trumpet, clarinet and tuba. Brittany has loads of experience playing, performing and ministering in a variety of music genres that include classical, jazz, and gospel. She is a student at the Cab Calloway School Of Performing Arts. She is a BDG All-star as she is also represented by BDG Enterprises & Records.
Brittany comes from a family of gifted musicians as her father, Bishop Luther Vann Sessoms, Jr. is an experienced bassist and percussionist and her mother, Pastor Linda Sessoms is an awesome gospel vocalist. Brittany is the minister of music at her church, Genesis Worship Center.
The Truth is a CD that consists of 13 tracks in which every selection was composed, written, arranged and produced exclusively by Brittany Sessoms. She performed all of the music on this CD which includes piano, drums, bass, horn and synthesizer tracks. As you listen to her music you will hear the influence of her foundation of theory and experience in contemporary, smooth jazz, gospel, traditional jazz and classical music. The CD is smooth, blazing and awesome to say the least. This is the CD to put in your system when you want to chill out, wind down, relax and just be ministered to. This is also the CD you will put on when you are taking that ride when you will be in the car for any given amount of time.
