About me:
O’BON is a United States based company dedicated to designing, manufacturing and distributing stationery products such as pencils and erasers. At O’BON, we strive to incorporate 3 fundamental elements into every one of our products, specifically Quality, Responsibility and Affordability. Our loyalty lies passionately in the hands of our customers, and behind every single product we make exists a determined effort to surpass any and all expectations you may have of us.
O’BON was essentially born out of a new, revolutionary process in pencil making. By rolling a used sheet of newspaper around a stick of graphite, we began creating pencils that were superior to the outdated wood versions all too common today. Not only does our method protect the graphite much better than the old wood version, but our pencils are the far more environmentally responsible choice. Add to that some simply stunning designs by our sister company Evoke, coupled with inexpensive prices and voila! We are creating products that are the best choice for our customers..
Today, O’BON products can be found in nearly a dozen countries around the world, with plans underway to increase that number rapidly. Particularly at this juncture in human history, amidst growing concern over the state of our environment, this quick expansion is aimed at providing people with environmentally responsible options capable of making a significant difference. Every minute, an area of rainforest the size of 20 football fields combined is cut down, partly due to the creation of conventional wood pencils. O’BON stands firmly behind the notion that to lose such a massive chunk of diverse ecosystem is completely unacceptable.
This ambition to reduce deforestation on our planet makes up the foundation of our business, and is represented ever so beautifully in the designs that we use. Today, O’BON pencils are made to represent several different themes, and we dedicate our Wildlife Series so passionately to the animals that we are trying to protect. In addition, a percentage of the revenue we receive from every product we sell goes back into the community, either through education or charities in an effort to make our world an even better place to live.
The philosophy behind O'BON is simple: Take a common school item, such as a pencil, and turn it into something exciting, something special, something different. We strive to end the days when pencils came in bland colors, broke constantly and consumed valuable environmental resources. Made from old newspaper, and manufactured in a variety of hip designs and colors, our pencils are setting new standards for environmentally friendly and grade school trendy. And pencils are only part of what we do. You will find that our entire line of school supplies is unique, exciting and fun. Smiles for your kids today, trees for your kids tomorrow.

We, the humankind, must always keep in mind that, united we stand and prosper, but divided, we have been falling for many, many years. - - Let us learn how to unite and work together, let us learn how to transform the information offered on our website, into action, in order to solve humanity’s major problems, One Problem, at a time. - - Ranking number 1, on top of our list of major problems obviously is the Global Warming.
We must also keep in mind that silence solves nothing, it never has, and it never will. Our silence encourages more violence and corruption at all levels of society, all over the world, and helps to defeat and silence the peaceful voices of reason and common sense. - It is our civic duty and moral obligation, to get involved and never be silent, to solve our many problems, by simply casting the light of truth and exposing the source of the problem, followed by enlightening educational measures to solve the problem through a peaceful conflict resolution.
There are only 2 ways of spreading the light of truth and hope, either to be the source of light, truth and hope, The Projector, or be The Mirror, that spreads and reflects the light of truth and hope to others, which one are you? - - And next time you see the sweet little angels, our children, running around, stop and think for a minute, think about what kind of polluted Planet Earth we are leaving behind for them.
