    Steel Blades of Vengeance is a Heavy Metal quartet hailing from Denver Colorado. Heavilly rooted in 80's Metal S.B.O.V. began as Maiden Denver. An Iron Maiden tribute band consisting of Mike - Vocals, Nate - Drums, Leighton - Guitar, Jack - Guitar, Dave - Bass. After over a year of M.D. shows guitarist Jack left Denver. In mid 2007 the remaining four members began composing original material. Soon into the process Leighton left due to internal friction in the band. With live shows scheduled for that very week Mike quickly learned the set and filled in on guitar permanantly. After trying out a slough of potential guitarists and not finding a match S.B.O.V. marched on as a confident trio for a few years, with Nate taking a 3 month hiatus in the summer his place was shortly filled by Dave P.. Eventually the bassist was replaced and Leighton returned as seconed guitarist, Dave P. returned for another 3 months this time as the bass player. The newest addition to the band is Niklaus, taking the reins as the latest and greatest S.B.O.V. bassist.
