Sup yall. Lemme tell you a bit about this year's Thousand Beer Fest...

Shit's gonna be pretty much the same as last year, except the fest grounds will be moved to a different clearing. Should be easier for everyone since it's a bit closer to the main road. Of course, the theme will be different. Like the name says, 2010 Beers Under the Sea should seem like we are all drinking beers at or under the sea....so anything within that parameter is fair game. I guess we could leave the word "sea" up to interpretation and you could get all metaphorical, but no one will get it and you will probably look like a dork/jerk. Maybe we'll rent a Porta-Potty this year, but I highly doubt it. Hopefully, a sturdier latrine at least. It's lookin like Mountain Creek is again going to sponsor our event, because they are stoked on the idea. So, make sure to take many pictures so we can show them how much we love them. There might be another thousand beers but I have not yet decided. If you ran out last year, you should probably bring a reserve stash. The admission will still be at least $15. Still a great price for being able to see over 15 bands, drink, and party on private secluded property. Remember to bring extra money for band merch, fest shirts, and food/water. I'm hoping to get a few serious carnies involved to bring out their corn dog/funnel cake trailers and feed us. Again, this is an INVITE ONLY event. If I don't know you or like you, don't simply assume you can come because you know someone who knows me or is going. Message me or Dios Mio if you want to come. Yes, the rules will be as strict as last year, but here they are in a brief, less asshole-ish tone:

1) No fireworx - too dry
2) No fires outside of the main pit (grills ok) - see above
3) Burn ONLY wood - toxic/shitty/cleanup sux
4) Crush & throw all cans in garbages - crushing saves space, and clean-up sux
5) No stashing beer - gives us inaccurate figures, and its selfish
6) No complaining/wining - yeah there's no running water/toilets and the beer might not appeal to your snobbish taste...grow a pair huh?
7) Everyone pays.

A few crucial things I suggest bringing:

- Water (no running water)
- Tent / blankets and tarp (shit got wet last year)
- Flashlight / fleshlight (contact kenny from highlife if you need one)
- Bug spray / wood tick repellent (dude got limes disease after the original fest)
- Merch money / food money
- Food and extra beer (if you are worried that we run out)
