About me:
I am a junior at Morehead State University in Kentucky. I am an Equine Science. I have no idea what I want to after I graduate, and I'm okay with that. I'm also on the MSU Saddle Seat Team and in Collegiate FFA. I have a lot of hopes and dreams. I've learned that if you want something bad enough, you will get it but sometimes it will take hard work and determination. You can think about the future but you can't dwell on it, otherwise you will forget about what is right in front of you today. Life isn't easy, but the challenges and adventures are what make your life a story to tell to others.
I tend to ask a lot of questions, I can't help it. I'm an impatient person, and sometimes that gets me into trouble. I wouldn't be who I am today if it were not for my family and where I grew up. I tend to give good advice to those who seek it.
My favorite holiday is Fourth of July because of all the festivities. It's the true American holiday with all the barbecues, fireworks, and patriotism. I also love Mardi Gras and would love to go to Mardi Gras in New Orleans someday. Traveling is like reading a new book, no matter where you travel, you will always meet interesting people and see amazing sites.
Audrey Hepburn once said, "I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.” I totally agree. I've probably shared too much already so I'll go now!
Who I'd like to meet:
~The Cowgirl~
She is not strange or wrong,
Because of what she wears,
But if you think she is,
She doesn't really care.
She'd rather be different,
Then to be the same,
She likes wide open spaces,
Her spirit's never tame.
The pasture is her haven,
It's there she likes to roam,
Her horse is her best friend,
The barn is home sweet home.
She has her own opinions,
She likes to cross the line,
She ain't sophisticated,
And with her that is just fine.
She'll never be a follower,
Her own style she'll create,
Rap is not her thing,
She'd rather hear George Strait.
She's happy just the way she is,
For you she'll never change,
She's gonna spend her life like this,
A cowgirl on the open range.
