I would say that the surest measure of a man's or a woman's maturity is the harmony, style, joy, and dignity he creates in his marriage, and the pleasure and inspiration he provides for his spouse.

About me:

♥I am married to my best friend and soul mate Jeff. He is the best man I have ever known and he has showed me what it is to be truly loved. Before I met Jeff I would have explained my life as a living hell, but he saved me from that life. He is the most loving and compassionate man I have ever known. He is truly my hero.♥ He is also an amazing father. He loves my kids as if they were his own. He has taught my boys how a man is supposed to be. I can't imagine our lives without him in them. We have 3 beautiful daughters and 4 great sons. We are very proud of all of them. We also have MANY cats lol. I enjoy sewing and making clothes. I would have to say my favorite thing to do is just spending time with my husband.I am living the life I have always dreamed of.♥ My Daughter Rachel and her boyfriend Dustin are expecting our first Grandchild. We are all so happy and excited. I know the two of them are going to be excellent parents. And I can't wait to spoil him/her with Grandma's Love. The baby didn't cooperate during the ultra sound so we still don't know if it is Emilee Marie or Alexander Lee. She is due July 27, two days before my birthday....what a great gift♥ pregnancy ImageChef.com Photobucket

I decided I'm going to have the baby tomorrow. I haven't talked it over with the baby yet though so I guess it might have other plans.

Actually, I just remembered Dustin has drill this weekend, maybe tomorrow's not such a good day. Maybe I'll start packing tomorrow instead of having the baby, I might as well do something productive.

Yeah. The only downfall is that it's upstairs, which I'm sure will suck with a baby. But at least we wont have loud neighbors above us anymore. He said he doesn't care if we have pets, and he wont charge an extra deposit for them.

Dustin said he called the guy with the apartment on Sherman back today. He said we can look at it on Sunday, and he said if we like it he'll give it to us for $800 instead of $850.

I don't really think we're going to find anything else.
  • Jul 9 2009 9:42 PM

I don't think I'd be very enjoyable to be around.

    How's the siding coming?

I told Dustin last night that the State Fair starts August 27th, and he said, "Ooh, on your due date?" I told him we wouldn't be friends if I was pregnant for an extra month. lol
  • Jul 9 2009 7:01 PM

Yeah, I wish she would have told me my measurements though. She said you're supposed to be 40cm at 40 weeks, but you usually measure smaller if the baby's dropped.

I just hope the doctor's not all 'doctory'. And if he orders an ultrasound I'm going to tell them I don't want to know if it's a boy or a girl, I've waited this long might as well wait 'til it's born. lol Renee and Terry have already started buying girl clothes. Poor Jared's going to be confused if it's a boy, anytime I'm there Terry asks him where Emilee is and he points to my tummy.

LOL..i don't think you've lost ur mind just planning ahead a bit...actually it is short for remington...we were trying to find something different...yeah they both did go and jager has improved so much this last month...not sure if his front legs will ever be completely right or totally outgrow it just have to wait and see, he's now at 28.5 pds, his parents were both huge for boxers so we expect him to be also. I said nomore cats after I got down to just max but the boy's dad has all these cute little kittens running around his barn so of course i couldn't resist, he's all white and looks to be a long hair right now but has black on the backs of his legs and tail, almost like someone dipped his ass end in paint lol...anyway back to checking my mail etc...have a good day!!

A different person weighed me today. She said I weighed 131, which means according to their records I gained five pounds, but according to my scale I gained three. I think they should just get an electric scale, that would make me happy.
  • Jul 9 2009 12:16 AM

yeahh, i love it, its just tedious.and i know i cant wait to have a nice day.today was okay, but we can do much better in july.

She said today that the baby's measuring a little small. But she said that it's because I'm small, so my body knows not to grow something bigger than it can handle, she said she's not worried about it. I tested negative for Group B Strep, so I don't have to have antibiotics while I'm in labor. I asked if my water broke if I could still use the jacuzzi tub, she said a doctor would say no, but she said I could because the risk of infection is so low.
And I asked why they don't do water births, apparently it's because the pediatricians wont let them. I have to go to Carthage next week for my appointment, I guess the doctors don't like it if you only see the midwives so I have to have another appointment with a doctor. I called to make my appointment for next week and the girl asked if I had a confirmed pregnancy. I said, "Yeah, I just saw a midwife today, she told me to call an make an appointment with a doctor next week." She said, "Have you filled out the initial paperwork?" I said, "Umm.. I'm 37 weeks pregnant, I think everything's filled out." lol

I'd walk more if we had a smarter dog. Nothing against Tucker, but I think he may have had too much Mississippi water or something, he's kind of stupid and he pulls too much so I can't bring him for walks and I hate walking around Watertown by myself, people are stupid. Dustin says the same thing about the cats though. He said they're like Pinky and the Brain, Grizzly is the Brain which is pretty scary.

I just looked and the State Fair is August 27th to September 7th. They don't have much more information about it yet though. We'll take him before school starts so he can spend a couple nights (maybe he'll have more luck than Brandon and he wont get rained on the whole time. lol) But we want to find out if they do the wristband thing that the fair here does so he can go on all the rides without stupid tickets.

That guy never called Dustin back about the apartment, he's called him four times, so we found another one on Sherman street. The guy said it's a 2 bedroom, but there's a computer room that can be used as a 3rd bedroom. He said there's people there now, their lease ends August 1st, but they're moving out before then. Dustin's supposed to call him back today or tomorrow to find out when they're moving out.

Oh I forgot to tell you I think Brandon is confused. When he was here he told me his dad said hi. Then he said, "Isn't my dad your dad?" I said, "No." He said, "Oh, he's Brian's dad?" I said, "No. He's your dad and Jordon's dad. Brian and I have the same dad, but he's not yours and Jordon's dad." I think he almost got it, until he asked what our dad's name is and I said, "Mike."

Dustin's getting impatient. I had a stomach ache earlier so I told him my tummy hurt, and he asked if it was time to go to the hospital. I don't think they do much for an upset stomach. lol I have an appointment tomorrow I'm hoping she doesn't tell me I gained too much and I need to stop eating ice cream and candy bars.

Mentally, I'm nesting. Physically, I'm sitting on the couch playing on the computer. I really want to be able to have time to get the cats used to not being able to get on the baby's stuff before I have to get them used to the baby. They're going to hate me. They weren't too impressed with me being gone when we went camping, I can't imagine they'll be too happy when I'm gone for two days then come home with a crying baby. Poor cats, they'll be begging someone to turn me into the SPCA or PETA for animal abuse.

I think the baby's dropped, at least a little. I have to pee a lot more, and I've noticed I've been able to eat more. Oh, Nana told me if it's a girl we should name her Emma Lee instead of Emilee Marie, Terry agrees with her. I told them we'll name her Emilee and they can call her Emma. And Brian thinks if it's a girl we should name her Alexandra Lee. I think they should all have their own daughter and then they can pick her name. lol

We went by that one place on W. Main and the For Rent sign was back in the window, I assume it must have fallen or something. Dustin called and a kid answered so he asked to talk to his father and the kid said, "I don't have a father." So he talked to the kids mom and she said he (whoever we need to talk to) would be home later and will call him back.
I just want to be able to have the crib delivered and have everything set up. I'm getting anxious.
  • Jul 5 2009 1:17 PM

That's okay, I'd still be sleeping too but decided I should get up and feed the cats since Grizzly learned how to meow while we were gone and he wouldn't shut up.
  • Jul 5 2009 12:47 AM

I think Dustin is determined to have me go into labor on an island. We went to Boldt Castle today and walked around for hours, which is probably a good thing since I had marshmellows and a Butterfinger for breakfast.

We're leaving here around ten tomorrow morning to come get Brandon. Does he have any idea what he wants?

We're doing laundry, and I guess we're going to order a pizza or go to dinner somewhere.

The house is a mess because we didn't clean before we left. Now we have twice as much to do, and I don't want to do it.

I'll let you know when we're finished eating if you wanna come get Brandon. Brian said he fixed his breaks so we can still take him Sunday.
  • Jul 3 2009 5:19 PM

We're home. It rained the whole time, and our air mattress had a leak that we couldn't find. So we went to sleep in the air, and woke up two hours later on the ground. :( Oh, then the Blazer wouldn't start this morning so Donnie towed us home with their Taurus. The deer flies were terrible, I somehow managed to be the only one that didn't get bit by them. And we didn't need any sunscreen. I think Tucker had a good time though. He wouldn't go in the water past his elbows, and he ran to the tent everytime it started raining. He's kind of a chicken.

Brandon caught a fish, and he plans on eating it. It's in the cooler still, I told him I wasn't cooking it. lol

Brian said his back brakes are dragging and he can't get them off, so we told Brandon we'll have to do it another weekend if he can't fix them.
