202 Market brings a unique offering to downtown Roanoke, featuring world-class restaurant Kitchen, the contemporary metropolitan lounge and music venue CityBar, and smooth, "chill-out" piano lounge The Loft. 202 Market is the cultural anchor of Roanoke's Market Square, combining food, culture, art and music to add new dimension to downtown Roanoke in a way that could only be dubbed "sophisti-clectic."
Headed by Executive Chef Chad Scott, Kitchen offers diners innovative American cuisine with moderately-priced menu items that range from traditional dishes with a twist to signature Kitchen inventions. Chef Scott, a Roanoke native who came to 202 Market from Atlanta after being recognized as one of Atlanta's top five young chefs, subscribes to a "simple, fresh, green and clean" philosophy on food, having worked in some of the country's hottest restaurants alongside lauded chefs.
202 Market is open six days a week (closed Mondays).
Tuesday thru Friday, we open at 4:30 and close late. Saturday and Sunday, we open at 5:00.
Our world-class kitchen starts dinner at 5:00 and serves until 10:00 (11:00 on Friday and Saturday). CityBar + The Loft remain open late and feature live music.
