Bio:

I live in a world of creativity and absorb myself in a network of musical fervour. Throughout my musical life I have worked with extremely talented people who keep their music flowing freely using their imagination and visionery sounds that stimulates and excites the mind, heart and soul into a never ending journey. I feel privaledged to have worked with those who create their art with passion! I owe my thanks to Pete and Lee (Terminal Head) who are now involved in a fantastic new project called Hex Orchestra with Mark. GUYS YOU HAVE KEPT ME FED ON A WEALTH OF INSPIRATION AND FAITH. The vocals that I perform on one of their tracks has given me a burst of freedom. The whole experience of working with such talent makes it a privalege and honour to be part of this project, which i must add (to name drop) features Dominic Miller on one of the tracks. Also I thank Carolyn Hume for her inexhaustible creative ideas that are so close to my heart. Her emotive playing just takes me to that special place where I can reach out and tell a story. We begin to tell the story with Carolyn on Piano and myself on Trumpet. Our sounds merge and we are on the same path until the next injection of that creative flow begins to dictate what comes next. YOU ARE MY MUSICAL SOUL SISTER AND SPECIAL FRIEND! I am here to create with progressive artists (Producers/Musician's/Studio Projects) who share this same passion. MUSIC IS LIFE THAT KEEPS THE HEART AND MIND IN LOVE! The music that you hear is an example of the work that has been created in the past year. I am working on my own material also - but isnt in a state to be listened to yet, so watch this space! MUSICAL HISTORY (in brief - well...... nearly) Brass Band taught. London Youth Jazz Orchestra. Formed a band called AS IS and Supported Smokey Robinson and Dionne Warwick - Scotland, England & Wales. WOMAD x 2. The Jazz Cafe. Interview and live performance on: UK Living. Kiss 100. Single releases played on Radio One and Jazz fm (now Smooth fm and is nothing like it used to be!) Collaborations: 1998 - 2002 Studio project (ESPIONAGE LIMITED) with Kelly Ellis and Steve McNicol - who previously worked with Beth Gibbons (Portishead) and Geoge Michael, Stereophonics, Tina Turner. Don Piranha - Wicked Funk/Jazz fusion band! Peter Marret and Lee Groves - vocals and trumpet on experimental library music and currently as above. Martyn Halsey, England's answer to the one and only fabulous whistler - hearing is believing! Anyway i did Backing Vocals for debut album - BLACK AND WHITE. Currently earning my bucks with THIS SIDE OF PARADISE - choosing standard covered music - but we add an edge and creative feel to them..... people are intrigued when they hear us for the first time - we leave them wanting more. The guitarist is the talent of Mr Neil Sadler.
