Your Favorite Enemies startade för 8 år sedan, när sångaren Alex Foster och gitarristen Sef bildade folkrock bandet The Riddlers. Förenade av bassisten Ben Lemelin och sångerskan Miss Isabel, skrev The Riddlers produktionskontrakt med ett amerikanskt bolag grundat i Nashville, turnerade lika mycket i Kanada som i USA och gav ut två ekonomiskt oberoende album. Efter lite mer än fem år, hur svårt än beslutet var med tanke på allt det nerlagda jobb för att etablera The Riddlers på den Amerikanska folkscenen, medlemmarna i gruppen bestämde sig för att vända blad och lägga av våren 2003.
Efter flera månaders vila, skrivande och arbetande med studio, kom bandet som tidigare var känt som The Riddlers tillbaka med gittaristen Jeff Beaulieu i början av 2004 under pseudonymen In This Life, ett alternativt rockband, och gav ut the Quiet Day för Sunshine Breathers album.
2004 började med slagkraft för In This Life. Medan medlemmarna i gruppen arbetade på nytt material, hade bandet blivit inbjudna till att uppträda på den prestigefyllda Canadian Music Week och tackade nej till ett skivavtal med ett amerikanskt indiebolag. Under tiden, satte Alex Fosters obevekliga kampanjer mot ett välorganiserat vitt suprematisk organisation distribuerar gratis skivor av rasistiska artister i nordamerikanska ”high schools” In This Life i varje ledande kanadensisk media som antirasistiska aktivister. Detta pressade inte bara amerikanska auktoriteter att komma på åtgärder mot det rasistiska skolgårdsprojektet, utan det gav också upphov till Rock N Rights, gruppen för mänskliga rättigheter. Dessutom kom en viktig filmregissör i kontakt med Foster för att göra en dokumentärfilm om hans liv, och då hans förflutna som en ung nynazistledare, hans nuvarande roll som talesman för Amnesty International och hans musik inkluderat.
2005 blev ett viktigt år för In This Life’s medlemmar när de fick ett telefonsamtal från Bob Luthala, en av de mest inflytelserika och respkterade managers (I Mother Earth, Edwin, Mobile) i Kanada. Efter att ha välkommnat trummisen Charles Allicy, och skrivit kontrakt med Luthala Management i slutet av 2005, bestämde sig bandet för att byta namn till Your Favorite Enemies i början av 2006, och började att arbeta på deras första album, Love is a Promise Whispering Goodbye, tillsammans med producenten Steve Thompson (Korn, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Jet), som ska släppas i slutet av 2007.

I really like Vimmerby and Sweden in general. I often have headaches here in Germany but in Sweden I don't. The air is so much better, it's more clean I think. Maybe you know the village were my parent's house is located, it's called Virserum.
how are you today dear sis? i'm good, thanks :) trying to do good in college, on the ice and trying to enjoy life as much as possible all at the same time. life is really busy but really good. since the hockey seasons started again last week i'm very busy but i love it all so much!!!

hehe, glad you love living in sweden!! it seems like such an awsome country!! i only just learned, part of the poem Beowulf is actually set in sweden!! did you know that? it's so cool finding out stuff like that! i really love literature and have to rad Beowulf for college :)

Hi Magdalena :), how are you today???...I'm very happy in this period, the holiday passed with some of my sweet friends are amazing because we have gone to Mirabilandia, to Ravenna (it's a place similar to Disneyland, but without the personages of Disney) and we are amused a lot :P
