    -----Funky Brain is the musical dream of guitarist and composer Ken Billeci(Hi!).Inspired by the healing and transformative power of music, and by the need to celebrate with original music friends and family that I realize more than ever I'm lucky enough to have,this music flourished from somewhere in my conscioussness as a result of this new appreciation. Formed in 2005 with Scott Johnston on saxophones,Matt Robinson on bass, and Mike Johnston on drums, we have had the opportunity to play clubs and private parties in Northern California,and are looking forward to recording and playing more in the near future.Funky Brain synthesizes jazz harmonies,funky rhythms, and unusual melodic twists.Our first CD has just been released, and is available on the official Funky Brain website, as well as the internet music sites CDBaby and iTunes.No pressure at all, of course,but if you are so inclined you can..... .. .. ........ .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .. .... .. .. .. .. ..
