  • Bio

Stan spent most of his music career in folk groups and bands. He gave up performing after a failed attempt at pushing his songs in Los Angeles several years back and played little guitar for quite some time. In the late 90's he came back full force and played solo gigs around the Denver area, winning several rave reviews for his songwriting skills. He continues to write a song or two here and there and although he is working on a CD, most of his time is spent as an author. He has written two books for songwriters, ....Inspiration For Songwriters.... and ....The Songwriter's Journal..... His newest book (which will be available in October 2007), is a juvenile fantasy novel called ....The Misadventures of Hobart Hucklebuck..... You can find out more about this one by visiting the.. Stony Meadow Publishing.. website. Stan is also working on a couple of zombie novels which you might be interested in. Check out ..Forever Zombie: A Collection of Undead Guy Tales.. and ..The Chronicles of Max Blood: Zombie Hunter.. at the ....Best Zombie Books.... website.

Most of my songwriting influences come from my younger days. Early influences in my style were Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Donovan and a little known artist, Bob Lind, who had a hit with "Elusive Butterfly" in the late 60s.
  • Sounds Like

Mix together some Bob Dylan, some Paul Simon and maybe a little John Prine and you might get an inkling of an idea.
