I like many books, but these are brilliant: Candid by Voltaire. Mark Twain's Autobiagraphy Vol 1 and Vol 2 and Twain's Is Shakespeare Dead?, Enders Game by Orson Scott Card, The More than Complete Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy - Douglas Adams. This collection of free e-books is really fantastic.

About me:
I just got back from a 6 month backpacking trip in Brazil and Argentina. It was incredible. I picked up Portuguese, but somehow i think my Spanish got worse. My next big trip will either be to Columbia / Venezuela / Northern Brazil or the Far East like Thailand, Cambodia, Japan . . . etc.
I was a stockbroker in New York some years back, worked in IP/Tech Sales at SBC for 3 years and am currently a partner in several Internet ventures.
Update:
I'm now living in Colombia on my 2nd sabbatical.For fun? Well I go out to some clubs every now and then and enjoy a good BBQ amongst friends. We've been known to have some amazing parties and on most days I feel like I'm living the dream.
