Love movies, kind of a big movie dork, well, let's be honest, I'm a dork period, but love movies. Latest movies ... Little Miss Sunshine, Half-Nelson, Walk the Line, Capote, Batman Begins, liked Crash a whole lot, loved the acting, the directing, etc ... kind of felt there was a little bit too much "message, " you know (sing along) "Im a racist, your a racist, he's a racist, she's a racist, wouldn't you like to be a racist too" but a real strong movie from the guy who wrote Million Dollar Baby which I loved, flat out, right hook, knock the bastards down loved. TEAM AMERICA WORLD POLICE - all I can say is "America F*ck yeah!" -- funny, smart .. ok smart in a stupid way, movie ... freedom isn't free, there's a hefty f*ckin fee ..." Just saw MILLIONS on DVD, cute, lovely fable by Danny Boyle (28 days later - another film worth seeing), KUNG FU HUSTLE, funny, weird, trippy, probably something that would really blow your mind if you were stoned - probably, the ARISTOCRATS - see it! As far as favorites of all time, there are many, here are a few to keep you kids at home happy: The Boxer; Godfather II; Pulp Fiction; The Princess Bride (see I have a sensitive side); The Godfather; Silence of the Lambs; The African Queen; Requiem for a Heavyweight; Unforgiven; Caddyshack ...Television
Funny: THE OFFICE (BBC); Arrested Development; The Simpsons; Seinfeld; and Father Ted (also the BBC, those brits, so funny, speaking of which anything Monty Python related, right? Know what i mean, nudge, nudge) 30ROCK (I'll admit, took me a bit to get into it, well I'm into it people, just try and pull me out. Or don't). Not so Funny, but great: Deadwood, The Shield (see me on it in March), Rescue Me, The Wire, ROME, Deadwood, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Proof I'm a Nerd: Battlestar Gallactica -- frakin cool man, freakin cool.Books
Reading MYSTIC RIVER by Dennis Lehane. Loved the movie, the book is fantastic. As was one of his earlier books DARKNESS TAKE MY HAND. Been reading alot of Michaael Connely, HENRY BOSCHE novels. But no, don't just read the dark detective type things, recently read THE TIPPING POINT - by Malcom Gladwell, muy interesante. BLINK by the same guy, also muy, muy interesante. Read MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA ... ok, yes, I'm sensitive. Holy crap the book was written by a white guy from the south ... it was good. Didn't think it was great, but good. UNDER THE BANNER OF HEAVEN - freaked me out a little bit, ok, a whole lot actually. Makes me wanna rush right out and be a MORMAN ... not so much. Loved A MILLION LITTLE PIECES until I realized he made most of it up, that being said - not a fan, The Dark Tower Series .. trippy stuff, fantastic. Trinity by Leon Uris is one of my favorites of all time, Recently read the first two books in The Hitchhikers Guide series, Empire Falls, Absolute Friends by john leCarre, The Kite Runner, Killer Angels, Devil in the White City, The Life of Pi, Dune, Rebels .... mind going blank right now (no that's not a title, but it could be, maybe a good one ... hey did you read "mind going blank right now" by that guy, you know, whatshisname?) can't recall the books Ive read and liked ... oh, here's an idea - Books I started reading cause I thought I should read but never could get through them: Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance; Moby Dick; A Tale of Two Cities, A Brief History of the Universe; Ulysses; Oedipus Rex ... many more which I allegedly read in high school and college but never did ... that's right, faked my way right through it, just like my date on prom night - wait a minute!Heroes
Carpet Man, Captain I Go To Bed on Time, Master of Doing his Homework, The Fantastic Kids Who Always Listen to Their Parents -- my parents came up with lame super heros for me when I was a child. Heroes ... I'll have to think on that one. But Carpet Man, man he could clean a wall to wall in no time flat ... no matter what the stains were - coffee, grape juice, red wine, blood ... so maybe Carpet Man for now.

About me:
I'm often unable to stop from belting out Michael Bolton's "Baby that's what love is all about," in the most innapropriate of situations. I'm the "youngest child," I pay far too much for therapy wherein I learn that being the "youngest child" is likely responsible for making me do and think strange things - but I doubt its responsible for my ... "baby that's what love is all aboooouuut, two hearts that fiiiiiiiiiind a way ... somehow .." I'm a recovering lawyer, though I find it a difficult title to escape, kind of like an alchoholic you know, you may never drink again but guess what?... or a killer, kill one person, never hurt another human being NO MATTER HOW MUCH THEY DESERVE IT ... and your still a killer. So I guess, yeah, I'm still a lawyer. I'd say "I'm a lawyer at heart" but we all know lawyer's don't have hearts so I guess I should keep trying to hide the lawyerishnessthingyness about me. Perhaps I've said too much ... "finding the good times is EASy, the hard times they'll tear you apart." Sorry bout that. When I'm bored I spend way too much time on MYSPACE, composing nonsensicle essays, often with made up words and phrases about how I feel .. "BABY thats what love is alll about .. two hearts that Find a way SOME how .." To read more of my rantings, CHECK OUT MY BLOGJimmy the Cyclops
Who I'd like to meet:
Sure, I could tell you all the celebrities I'd like to meet ... like that woman from Red Eye, or the one from June Bug or the future Mrs. Brad Pitt or so many more but I'm not going to do that ... one of the conditions of my restraining order prevents me from doing that ... so THAT's not gonna happen. As far as who I'd like to meet on MYSPACE? I don't know, truth is most of the people I "meet" on here are friends and friends of friends and friends of friends of friends and occassionally acquaintances of friends of friends of acquaintances of friends and that suits me just fine. But even if there is no friendship or familial connection, I'd love to meet people who are cool, and by cool I don't mean "I'm gonna put on a wife beater t-shirt, wear my hat backwards and pose for a picture on a motorcycle" cool or I'm gonna put on a string bikini and have my sometimes boyfriend take a digital picture of me pointing my ass at the camera with my head turned to the camera giving a "take me seriously, sexy seriously biatches" type look cool. Cool people to me are fun, smart, and talented people who don't take themselves too seriously and are enjoyable to hang out with. You see, I'm out in LALA LAND, working in "the industry" (that's right) and I'm surrounded by people who take themselves way to freakin seriously, and who think they are real freakin cool (notice how I'm using the word freakin instead of fucking? I'm a class act. your welcome). So that's it, I guess, yeah that's who I'd like to meet.Details
