Television
Television oh how I hate you for sucking my free time and oh how I love you for entertaining me night after night after night...Self Admitted Reality Whore:
Survivor, The Amazing Race, Project Runway, American Idol, and sometime the Apprentice when it doesn't suck.
Real TV:
Lost
, Alias, Battlestar Galactica (Don't tell Amanda), Scubs, The Office, The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, The O.C., and anything in HD really.Books
I have to admit that I don't read as much as I should. It's more like I go through phases where I read non-stop and then I don't read for a year. A short list of what I like:Dune
Lord of the Rings
Portnoy's Complaint
anything by Nick Hornby
Harry Potter
Brave New World
The Mists of Avalon (this does not make me gay, not there is anything wrong with that)
Heroes
Still figuring this one out...I'll let you know when I settle on some. The only one I know for sure is my Mom.

About me:
What to say about me?...Maybe I should treat this as a biography...yeah, what would my biographers say about me (Wavy lines and sound effects here)Born in May of 1975 to Michael (deceased) and Sandra Murray, Scott spent the early years of his life in historic and lush Hollywood Hills. Descended from a long line of tall men, Scott quickly grew and found himself in the 99th percentile of growth for children. Along with his stature, he quickly shows an aptitude for mechanical and reasoning. One day at the age of 2 his parents left him alone with a screwdriver in his crib and when they returned he had loosened all the bolts. Legend says he actually used the parts to construct a catapult sling to defend against marauding hippies, but this cannot be confirmed.
On his fifth birthday Scott found himself on the loosing end of a battle between and Volkswagen Rabbit and Volvo Station wagon. The accident gave him his trademark scar on his left cheek (sexiest scar, People Magazine June 1997), as well as what he would later describe as a sense of invincibility.
Often a thoughtful boy, Scott spent most of his younger years perfecting his ability to reason, and by reason we mean perfect his devious schemes. It's said in high school he made deals with most of his teachers, excusing him from homework and grading him solely on his testing ability. Also while attending Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, CA (818 Pride) legend says he doctored all of his report cards and transcripts, fixed a student presidential election and organized the overthrow and installation of the current puppet dictatorship an unnamed Central American country.
After High School is when records begin to get a little bit fuzzy (4:20), but we know this: he first attended San Francisco State Film School followed by Boston University Film School. In Boston he realized his dislike for the cold and snow and made a hasty retreat for Los Angeles. He began work as a World Wide Web producer in the early days of the internet, only to realize that while he loved technology, he hated writing code. Also there was supposedly a bad weekend in TJ with Bill Gates, a monkey and some kind of fruit tree, but reports are unreliable at best. Taking this cue he entered the film business as was always his dream.
After spending sometime as a P.A. (also known as Gofor, Shitmonkey, or Assclown) he got his first meaningful job as Jay Roach's assistant on Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. Given the lead by his good friend from B.U., Alex Brunner, Scott made the most of it. In fact, Mr. Roach was so impressed with his performance, he insisted that Scott play the title role, replacing Mike Myers, but Scott always the gentleman decided not to make waves and opted for the smaller, yet essential role of a Jerry Springer Bodyguard (best non-speaking performance 1998, Premiere Magazine 1998 Year in Review). It's said that he would later use this performance to pacify a small island of indigenous cannibals in the pacific that's only popular cultural reference were the Austin Powers Movies (unsubstantiated).
It was during the making of A.P. that Scott met his future wife, Amanda Sloane. A statuesque, buxom, blonde writer, Scott would later say that when he met her is when life really started. He would also say that women are nuts, but we do not know if this was in reference to Mrs. Sloane Murray or not.
After working for Mr. Roach, he then met the fabulous Robert Luketic when he worked with him on Legally Blonde. Impressed with Scott's role in the A.P. film, Luketic and the producers of the film wanted Scott in the title role of Elle Woods; however feeling he wasn't right for the role, Scott opted for the less glamorous, yet just as essential role of Associate Producer. A certain quirky, brunette actress would later recount a story of a night in Santa Ana when Scott rescued the production from certain destruction involving an intoxicated actor, a Bolivian street gang, an angry monkey (unrelated to the Bill Gates incident), and Jason Schwartzman, although this too cannot be confirmed.
Enjoying the world of development Scott became an executive with the eccentric (batshit crazy) director *. **** **** (name disguised for privacy purposes). There's not much to say about this chapter except that Scott learned how to put body armor on a small black man.
Still enjoying the work, Scott found out the land of development is populated with "Asshats and buttweasals" (direct quote). After successfully ushering several projects to production readiness he was thwarted by a particularly odious, capped tooth, charlatan that embezzled over $1,000,000 in development funds.
Now married and near penniless, Scott decided to return to production, turning to his one time employer Robert Luketic. Robert offered him the opportunity to produce the DVD for his new feature Monster-in-Law and that's how Scott's illustrious career as a documentarian began.
Scott now lives in Century City with his wife Amanda and their dog King (Cutest Dog 2004, 2005, 2006 - Dog Fancy Magazine). He enjoys - tinkering with Gadgets and Computers, playing video games, hunting for Sasquatch, explorations of the mind, the chimneysweep, bacon, spending quiet nights with Amanda, misanthropy and people who don't suck.
